She’s Not Sorry by Mary Kubica
Megan Michaels, an ICU nurse receives a new patient, Caitlin, who arrives in a coma after having jumped from a bridge. But then a witness comes forward with new details causing everyone to question did Caitlin actually fall or was she pushed? Megan lets herself get close to Caitlin and her family and discovers they all have very different stories. Megan discovers dark secrets which leads her and her daughter to be the possible next victims.
What I Loved: I thought the role of Megan’s job as an ICU nurse added an interesting component to the book. The author shared the mental and emotional stress that the job of an ICU nurse brings.
What I Didn’t Love: the first half of the book was a little slow, it didn’t pick up until about halfway through and then it got more intense
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
This book is for the one who: likes a strong female lead character, a captivating read that is hard to put down
