The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine

Liv Constantine is a pen name for sisters Lynne and Valerie and this is their debut novel. They are national and international bestselling authors. There is a sequel to this book titled, The Next Mrs. Parrish.

Living in the town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut Daphne and Jackson Parrish are a true fairy tale couple.

Amber Patterson is running away from her past with the hopes of starting over in Bishops Harbor, Connecticut. She soon meets a fairy tale couple, Daphne and Jackson Parrish. Amber uses Daphne to enter into the lives of the Parrish family, with the intention of getting close to Daphne’s husband Jackson. Amber’s dark secrets of her past are revealed throughout the book, as well as, Daphne and Jackson’s secrets of their own. Not everything is as perfect as it seems, including Amber’s plan to become the new Mrs Parrish.

What Loved: I enjoyed that the first half of the book was from Amber’s point of view and then it switches to Daphne’s point of view.

What I Didn’t Love: some of the content is a little intense between the husband and wife. The characters are all pretty unlikable. The plot of this book seemed like many other psychological thrillers with the abusive and controlling husband and the other woman.

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐︎ 3/5

This book is for the one who: loves a psychological thriller with main characters being the sociopath husband, wife who wants revenge, and the other woman
